1. Our Commitment

At Lets Try English, we are committed to providing high-quality English language education. We want every student to feel confident and satisfied with their purchase. If you are not completely happy, this policy explains your options clearly and fairly.

We believe in transparency — this policy is written in plain English so you know exactly where you stand.

2. Online Courses — 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee

We offer a full 30-day money-back guarantee on all self-paced online courses purchased through letstryenglish.com.

You are eligible for a full refund if:

  • You request your refund within 30 days of the original purchase date
  • You have completed less than 20% of the course content
  • You contact us at ali@letstryenglish.com with your name and order number

You are NOT eligible for a refund if:

  • More than 30 days have passed since your purchase date
  • You have completed 20% or more of the course content
  • You have downloaded all the course materials in full
  • You have previously received a refund on the same or a similar course
  • The refund request does not come from the original purchaser

We reserve the right to decline refund requests that we believe are being made fraudulently or in bad faith.

3. Ebooks and Downloadable Digital Products

Due to the nature of digital downloads, we generally do not offer refunds on ebooks and downloadable materials once the file has been accessed or downloaded.

However, we will issue a full refund in the following exceptional circumstances:

  • The file is corrupt or cannot be opened and we are unable to provide a working replacement within 48 hours
  • The product you received was significantly different from what was described on the product page
  • A duplicate charge occurred due to a technical error

To request a refund under these circumstances, please contact info@letstryenglish.com within 7 days of purchase with details of the issue.

4. One-to-One Live Coaching Sessions

Cancellation by you:

  • Cancellation more than 24 hours before the scheduled session: full refund or free rescheduling
  • Cancellation within 24 hours of the scheduled session: no refund, but we may offer a one-time rescheduling at our discretion
  • No-show without prior notice: no refund and no rescheduling

Cancellation by us:

In the rare event that we need to cancel a scheduled session, you will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule at no extra cost. We will give you as much notice as possible.

Session packages:

For multi-session coaching packages, unused sessions may be refunded on a pro-rata basis if you cancel within 14 days of purchasing the package. After 14 days, unused sessions are non-refundable but may be rescheduled subject to availability.

5. Group Coaching Programmes

For group coaching programmes and cohort-based courses:

  • Full refund available if you cancel at least 7 days before the programme start date
  • 50% refund if you cancel between 3 and 7 days before the start date
  • No refund for cancellations within 3 days of the programme start date
  • No refund once the programme has begun

6. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please follow these steps:

  • Email us at ali@letstryenglish.com with the subject line: “Refund Request”
  • Include your full name, email address used for purchase, and order number
  • Briefly explain the reason for your refund request
  • We will acknowledge your request within 2 business days
  • If approved, your refund will be processed within 5-10 business days

Refunds are returned to the original payment method used at checkout. Processing times may vary depending on your bank or card provider.

7. Chargebacks

We ask that you contact us directly before initiating a chargeback with your bank or card provider. In most cases, we can resolve issues quickly and fairly without the need for a dispute process.

Initiating a chargeback without first contacting us may result in the suspension of your account and access to your purchased courses. We take fraudulent chargebacks seriously and reserve the right to contest them with supporting evidence.

8. Exceptions and Special Circumstances

We understand that exceptional circumstances do arise. If you are experiencing a genuine hardship or emergency that affects your ability to use a purchased product or attend a scheduled session, please contact us. We will always try to find a fair solution, which may include a partial refund, course credit, or rescheduling.

Each case will be assessed individually and at our sole discretion.

9. Refund Processing

All refunds are processed through Paddle, our authorised payment processor. Paddle handles all payment processing and refund transactions on our behalf.

Once a refund is approved and processed by us, the timeline for funds to appear in your account is as follows:

  • Credit or debit card: 5-10 business days
  • Other payment methods: up to 10 business days

Please note that we have no control over how quickly your bank processes the returned funds once Paddle has issued the refund.
